Neighborhood Clean Up Volunteer Events 08/26/2011
Here at SALEA we are always striving to improve our community through various events. The neighborhood clean ups are just part of our efforts to make an impact in our communities. Please enjoy photos from past clean up events: Three Kings Day Celebrations 08/26/2011
As you know, Día de Los Reyes is a big part of Latino culture. Los Reyes arrive before dawn on January 6th. For centuries Puerto Rican children have celebrated Los Reyes in the same manner as their grandparents did when they were children. January 6 is called Epiphany and is traditionally the day in which the Magi arrived bearing gifts for the Christ child. Even to this day in Hispanic countries throughout the world, January 6 is the day that children receive their Christmas gifts, in commemoration of the Magi's visit. In celebration of this holiday, we spread a little joy to children in need, bringing them gifts from Los Reyes. Please enjoy the photos from past Three Kings Day celebrations: Banquets 08/25/2011
As you know, SALEA holds banquets from time-to time to raise money for our organization, and to bring members together in a social setting. Please enjoy the photos below from previous banquets. New photos will be added for future events. So check back often, or subscribe to the RSS Feed for updates. | News & Events
